Isn't always interesting how counterfactual confirm to people's prejudices. What bothers me is that you don't even acknowledge Stalin's crimes which were 100 times greater than Franco's. On some level you are apologizing for one of history's worst dictators and his loathsome toady Zhukov. I least admit what Fanco was. Of course, many Eastern Europeans would have prefered Hitler overruning Moscow and Americans or British dropping the atomic bomb on Berlin. That would have spared them forty years of Communism.
